The Holdings of ETH Zurich Architectural Culture inventory documents and provides information on furnishings, interior fittings and representative building components that are groundbreaking for their architectural era and the corresponding manufacturing methods.
Extent
The Holdings of ETH Zurich Architectural Culture inventory is broken down into the following three sections, which contain around 400 objects in total:

Relevance of research and Public
This inventory ensures that the holdings of objects relevant to architectural culture and design history are safeguarded, documented and made available for teaching and research purposes. It is also intended to enable reuse as well as temporary exhibition of the objects.
Current activities, projects
Furnishing of the former “command bridge” of the machine laboratory hall with furniture and objects of interior decoration from the Salvisberg era, which further the intended use (as general workplaces) in an atmospheric manner.
Use of the archive / online presence
- The Holdings of ETH Zurich Architectural Culture platform is open to the public.
- It makes eras, conditions and links between other objects apparent and is intended to facilitate reuse in current renovation projects.
