Why sign the Charter?

Any ETH researcher or staff member may sign the Charter to personally endorse and promote the FAIR principles in their research. In addition, signatories commit to champion the establishment of FAIR management of all digital research assets in the wider ETH research community.

Signing the charter brings long-term benefits to signatories. The plan is for coalition signatories to have access to resources and services during the pilot phase to advance the implementation of the FAIR principles. Initial resources are already available, signing the Charter will be a prerequisite for receiving FAIR Competence Funding.

Signing the charter is very easy. Fill out external page this form. Your first name, surname and affiliation will then be added to the Signatories page.

Signatories will be informed about further developments of the FAIR Coalition project via email.
