Space Systems MSc

The required application documents for the desired degree programme differ depending on your previous education.

You are applying to an ETH Zurich Master's degree programme with a:

English, proof of proficiency required by the application deadline: Level C1, see Language requirements

GRE General Test 

Required for students who have not obtained their Bachelor's degree in one of the external page EU/EFTA Member State countries or the UK. Strongly recommended for all other students.

Minimum expected GRE Scores:

  • GRE Analytical Writing = 4,0/80%
  • GRE Quantitative Reasoning = 165/90%
  • GRE Verbal Reasoning = 155/70%.

Internship confirmation

For students who have completed an internship relevant to the field of study, enclose confirmation of internship and internship report.

Motivation letter

Write a brief and concise statement (approx. one A4 page) in the language of instruction of your chosen Master's study programme. In your statement, explain your motivation for choosing the Master's programme, the Deep Track, and your preferred tutor.

Recommendation letters

Please provide two recommendation letters. We prefer letters from academia or from referees with an academic background.

Tutors

Please select 3 preferred tutors. Allocation is based on tutor availability. Tutors will support you in setting up your Learning Agreement and accompany you throughout your studies. Note: The Deep Track is independent of the assigned tutor. Tutors are not automatically supervisors of the MSc thesis.
