• Mandatory for exchange students starting their studies at the beginning of the semester

International "Zvieri" (informal get-together)

• 23 September 2025, 16.00 to 17.30, HG K 30.5 ("Dozentenfoyer", ETH Main Building; R?mistrasse 101, 8092 Zurich)
• Content: Informal get-together with fellow students and representatives from the Student Exchange Office. Includes snacks and beverages.
• Target group: Exchange students (incoming & outgoing)

Health insurance in Switzerland: All you need to know

• 24 September 2025, 18.00 to 19.30, webinar (link will be provided shortly before the event via email)
• Content: Presentation and Q&A. General information about liability and health insurance in Switzerland, exemption process for students with an EU health insurance card, Swiss health insurance packages for international students and how to claim refunds.
• Mandatory for exchange students newly arrived in Switzerland

Examinations at ETH Zurich

• 6 October 2025, 18.15 to 19.15, webinar (link will be provided shortly before the event via email)
• Content: The first 30 minutes will focus on registration, deregistration, and how to manage your exam schedule. The next 30 minutes will clarify how to shift your exams ¨C if necessary ¨C and / or organize distance exams.
• Mandatory for exchange students who plan to shift exams due to academic reasons.

• An engaging Intercultural Competence Workshop designed to make your transition to Switzerland successful and enriching.
• Gain insights into the social norms, values, and cultural practices that define everyday life in Switzerland and at ETH.
• Learn to identify unconscious biases and implement strategies to effectively mitigate them.
