Alternatives
There are a few tracks to conduct a research project or thesis at ETH apart from the status of a project mobility student.
Other programmes for projects
Postgraduates with at least a Master's degree might be interested in the Swiss Government Excellence Programme.
Projects outside of programmes
Academic guest
- This status is not an option for Bachelor's or Master's students.
- This status might be an option for visiting doctoral students.
Individual collaborations in research, teaching and knowledge transfer
This might be a suitable alternative for students who do not fulfil the requirements for project mobility students.
The Student Exchange Office is not involved and cannot advise.
Paid internships at ETH are handled by Human Resources department and possibly IAESTE because this may include an internship contract, a salary, and a work permit.
