Call for seed money projects 2015

Call for seed money projects with 18 selected Asian countries is now open. Mandated by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), ETH Zurich is in charge of exploring and promoting scientific cooperation with key institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.

This call offers seed money projects with scientific partner institutions of the following Asian countries:

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam

Available Instruments
Seed Funding for initiating larger joint activities

Eligibility
Senior scientists of universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teachers' education as well as public research institutes in Switzerland in cooperation with a partner of one of the above mentioned countries.

Funding
The maximum grant sum for each individual project is CHF 10,000.

Deadline
Submission deadline is 11 September 2015. The applications will be evaluated by a selection committee consisting of representatives of ETH Zurich, EPFL, University of Zurich and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Earliest start of projects is 1 December 2015.
