Georg von Krogh, Professor for Strategic Management and Innovation at D-MTEC, has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the University of Vienna. The Board monitors and analyses the University within the context of the international academic landscape and advises it in matters of long-term strategy.

Stephan Wagner, Professor for Logistics Management at D-MTEC, has received one of the highest recognitions for empirical researchers in the field of operations and supply chain management: the Academy of Management OSCM Distinguished Scholar Award.
Three D-MTEC researchers receive AOM Award for Responsible Research in Management
D-MTEC
Dr Burcu Kucukkeles, Dr Shiko Ben-Menahem and Professor Georg von Krogh, all of D-MTEC, have been selected as Distinguished Winners of the 2021 AOM Award for Responsible Research in Management. The award is co-sponsored by the Fellows of the Academy of Management (AOM) and the Community for Responsible Research in Business and Management. The three researchers were honoured for their work examining the repurposing of existing drugs to treat rare diseases.
Katharina Fellnhofer receives Marie Curie Fellowship

Dr Katharina Fellnhofer (D-MTEC) has been awarded the prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship, which is funded by the European Commission and hosted by ETH Zurich and Harvard University. Her fellowship research initiative “Roller-Coaster” investigates entrepreneurs’ and venture capitalists’ entrepreneurial intuition in the course of financial decision-making.
Georg von Krogh named Fellow of the European Academy of Management

Professor Georg von Krogh (D-MTEC) has been named a Fellow of the European Academy of Management (EURAM). He received this prestigious honour in recognition of his contribution to management research and education in Europe, and as a sign of appreciation for his contributions to the EURAM community.
