01.09.2025: On 2 September 2025, ETH Zurich is present with a stand at the Sustainable Switzerland Forum in the Festhalle Bern. Together with Cerca Research and Design Lab, ETH Sustainability developed the exchange format ‘Contours of Change’.

14.04.2025: On the occasion of the World Recycling Day on March 18, ETH Sustainability invited the ETH community to submit creative ideas for upcycling opportunities at the university. Winston's idea won the draw.

11.04.2025: The second annual GreenLabs Certification Event took place on 12 March 2025. There, forward-thinking laboratory professionals received certificates for their efforts in advancing sustainability in the lab environment. As a grassroots effort grows into an annual tradition, we reflect on how GreenLabs helps ETH advance to its net zero emissions target.

01.10.2024: At the end of July 2024, ETH climate researcher Sonia Seneviratne travelled by train from Zurich to Sofia, Bulgaria, to attend the 61st plenary session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). She was able to stay ‘on the ground’ for her outward journey thanks to the commitment of her administrative assistant, Rahel Buri, who played a key role in organising Sonia's trip.

30.09.2024: From October 2024 onwards, the vegetable co-operative 'meh als gmües' will have a depot at ETH on the first basement floor of the HIB on the H?nggerberg campus.
