Eleni Chatzi has been Associate Professor of Structural Mechanics and Monitoring at the Institute of Structural Engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering since 2017. She was hired as an Assistant Professor in this position in 2010.
She was born 1981 in Athens, Greece.
In 2004 she obtained a diploma (Magna cum laude) from the Department of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, Greece and went on to make a Master of Science Degree in 2006 at the same university.
She graduated at the Columbia University, New York, USA, with a Master of Philosophy from the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics in 2008. In 2010 Eleni Chatzi was awarded a PhD (with distinction) from Columbia’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
