“We Were Here” reveals the untold story of Black Africans in Renaissance Europe through iconic works of art. Shot across Europe, this multilingual film challenges the notion that all Black people were slaves or servants. Told from an Afro-European perspective, it explores stories that are missing from traditional history books.
