New space for innovation: the renovated and extended HIF building of the D-BAUG

The HIF building on the H?nggerberg campus has been renovated and extended for the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (D-BAUG). The department's research now benefits from an enlarged building hall and new laboratories, among other things. The new building was officially opened in mid-June.

Ground-breaking ceremony for the agriculture of the future

With Monday's ground-breaking ceremony in Lindau, Cantonal Councillor Markus K?gi, ETH Zurich President Lino Guzzella and University of Zurich Rector Michael Hengartner have commenced the construction work for the Agrovet-Strickhof education and research centre. Research on sustainable agriculture will be conducted at the centre from 2017.
The new building at Gloriastrasse will keep its sculpture

ETH Zurich is constructing a new building for medical research – the GLC building – which will be ready by 2020. The artwork that currently stands between ETZ and the future GLC building will be preserved and integrated into the construction project.
ETH Domain construction programme for 2016
The Federal Council is proposing a global credit of 173.4 million francs to Parliament for the ETH Domain’s 2016 construction programme. There will be no new large-scale projects next year.
