The Communication Academy courses are aimed at doctoral candidates, postdocs, senior scientists and professors at ETH Zurich and the four research institutes PSI, Empa, WSL and Eawag.

Information about registration
To register for the workshops, a letter of motivation must be entered directly during registration. Please answer the questions listed in the course descriptions in your letter of motivation. The available places will be allocated to the applicants with the most convincing motivation letters.
After registering, you will receive an automatic confirmation of your registration.
You will receive confirmation of participation or rejection of your desired course in due course.
A letter of motivation is not required for the following Zoom events (webinar):
- Basics of Science Communication in German and English
- Hate Speech
A course confirmation or cancellation will be sent in due time.
There are no waiting lists for fully booked courses.
ETH Zurich employees log in with their ETHZ net username and password via Switch-AAI.
If a course is fully booked or has already started, the registration and deregistration buttons will no longer appear in the course listing and you will not be able to register or deregister.
Certificates of attendance are issued for successful participation in the workshops.
No certificates of attendance will be issued for the webinars.
The registration period for the courses in the autumn semester 2025 is from 1 to 22 September 2025. Pre-registration is not possible.
