Semester Projects

Please note that a semester, Bachelor's or Master's thesis written at a partner university remains an ETH Zurich thesis. Therefore, the regulations and processes of ETH Zurich must be observed (see principles).

ENHANCE Alliance & IDEA League Scholarship:

There is a higher scholarship available for semester, Bachelor's and Master's theses written at an ENHANCE & IDEA League partner university: the ENHANCE Alliance & IDEA League Student Grant.

Process:

1.  Principles
   On the principles webpage, students can find everything they need to know about writing their theses abroad.
2. Search for a supervisor at the partner universities
   Please refer to the following webpage projects for lots of helpful tips.
   
3. After confirmation from the supervisor: applying for a scholarship

4. Application to the partner university ¨C status
   Students can find all information about the application deadline and status (often that of a visiting (research) student or similar) directly at the partner universities.

ETH Zurich has clear processes for students who wish to write a semester, Bachelor's or Master's thesis at ETH Zurich.

ENHANCE scholarship:

ETH Zurich does not award ENHANCE scholarships to incoming students who come to ETH Zurich.

Students from external page IDEA League partner universities can find information here. However, applications and awards are always handled by the student's own university.

2. After receiving confirmation from the supervisor: Application
       - Students who are at ETH for more than 90 days can find the process under Project Mobility Students.
       - Students who are at ETH for less than 90 days can find information about alternative statuses here.
