Anyone walking across the ETH Zurich campus is moving through a landscape that is undergoing change. Sustainably redesigned green spaces promote a species-rich habitat ¨C right in the middle of everyday university life.

ETH Zurich is a place of innovation ¨C not only in research, but increasingly also in the way we develop and operate our campus. The program ¡°Digital Twin ¨C Building Bridges to the future¡± aims to create a digital twin of ETH's entire campus infrastructure by the end of 2028. This will lay the foundation for a future-proof campus that will secure the framework for ETH Zurich's excellent research and teaching.

If water is left in the pipes for a long time, the quality of the drinking water suffers. Therefore, you should first briefly flush the taps after the Christmas break.

Over the last few days, ETH Zurich has had the water in its older buildings tested for hazardous heavy metals. While the water quality in around 90% of the buildings was found to be impeccable, some maximum values were exceeded in buildings HPF, HPM, HPP and HPT. Facility Services has initiated immediate measures in these buildings.

Due to a fire, the F and G floors in the HPZ building have to remain closed until further notice.

The new equipment brings the H?nggerberg campus one step closer to efficient and environmentally friendly heating and cooling and helps to further reduce CO₂ emissions and the consumption of fossil fuels.

The ETH Link will run on electricity from the beginning of the semester. Starting on 14 September 2020, electric articulated buses will link the H?nggerberg campus with the Zentrum campus. Alongside the ¡°eLink¡± connection, there will be new charging stations for electric vehicles and more services for e-bikes.

All ETH Zurich buildings have been closed. Until further notice, they can only be opened using a key or an ETH employee card and the corresponding access code.
