Since the first of August, Annette Oxenius has been ETH’s Vice President for Research (read our portrait article here), taking over from Christian Wolfrum, who has moved on to a new role at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Oxenius is one of the world's leading experts in immunology. She obtained her doctorate at ETH in 1997 and has been a professor here since 2002.
