New design for ETHIS
?Since the beginning of the week, the ETHIS portal features a bright look with a tile design.
The switch to a more modern design has been accompanied by two further innovations:
Login now requires a multi-factor authentication, which has long been required for data security reasons.
Users can now create a personalised homepage containing the application links they use most frequently – and perhaps those they rarely need and therefore always had to search for. Alternatively, a new search function for applications is available. Brief instructions, including videos, can be found in ETHIS Help.
The navigation scheme (finance, human resources, procurement, etc.) and the assignment of individual applications (with a few exceptions) remain unchanged. The handling of workflows and reports also remains as usual.
Important technical notice
To ensure a smooth transition to the new ETHIS, please delete your existing bookmarks (favourites) for ETHIS in your browser and create a new bookmark for https://ethis.ethz.ch. Make sure that only this URL is saved – and not an automatically redirected or older version.
