Paul Bernays Lectures on the topic robust computation
Irit Dinur?conducts research in the field of theoretical computer science and will give the?Paul Bernays Lectures from 9 to 11 December 2025. She is Betsey Lombard Overdeck Theory of Computing Professorin at the Institute for Advanced Study?(IAS) in Princeton.
The Paul Bernays Lectures are an annual lecture series about the
philosophy of the exact sciences. The series is established in honour of
the eminent logician, mathematician as well as philosopher of logic and
mathematics Paul Bernays who was engaged in teaching and research at
ETH Zurich from 1934 to 1959. The series was founded in 2012 by the now
emeritus philosopher Giovanni Sommaruga (D-GESS).
Professor Irit Dinur will givte the following three lectures on the general topic: "Robust computation: from local to global".
