Accounting and Treasury
The Accounting and Treasury Department is responsible for the transparent presentation of ETH Zurich's assets, financial position and results of operations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
It manages financial and operational accounting and ensures a proper internal control system (ICS).
It manages ETH Zurich's financial positions and borrowed capital and guarantees its solvency.
- Financial accounts (balance sheet, profit and loss account, notes to financial statements, mandate accounting, consolidation)
- Real estate accounting
- Securities accounting
- Investment accounting
- Costing
- Accounts receivable (incl. payment reminders/debt collection)
- Accounts payable
- Payment transactions
- Investment reporting/controlling
- Managing the Investment Commission office/administration
- Reporting within the context of the annual financial statements
- Formulating benchmark values/key figures
- Consolidation in accordance with federal government/ETH Board specifications
The ICS comprises all financially relevant processes and measures designed to ensure compliance with proper accounting and financial reporting principles.
