Management Information and Digitalization
The Management Information and Digitalization Department provides comprehensive data analysis and is responsible for the standardized digitalization of financial management processes and information, as well as the further development of the ETHIS portal.
The Competence Center SAP (CCSAP) and Institutional Research sections are subordinate to this department.

- Supporting the operational and strategic management of ETH Zurich by providing decision-making bases for the Executive Board, departments and support units

- Ensure smooth operation of software, software maintenance as well as planning and coordination of further development of the SAP environment
- 1st and 2nd level support for ETHIS and SAP
- Creation and implementation of a module and role-specific authorisation concept
- Manage the different SAP module and actively support of the corresponding fields
- Development and maintenance of interfaces to internal and external systems including conceptualisation and planning
- Conceptualisation and planning of functional extensions for the automation and digitalisation of data processing procedures
- Integration tests in connection with new functions and releases (across modules)
- Provision of consistent data from the SAP database for evaluations and complex analyses
- Expert contact with the software manufacturer SAP for enhancements, troubleshooting and contractual aspects
- Consulting and support for business areas on strategic questions regarding the use of SAP software
- Support in the development of the training portfolio and its implementation
