We recommend saving the number in your mobile phone before you travel so that it is quickly to hand in an emergency.
Be prepared to provide the following information when you call:
- Your name and your employer (ETH Zurich)
- A telephone number where you can be reached
- Your issue and, if applicable, the name of the doctor treating you
Your family members or work colleagues can also contact the TSM emergency call centre on your behalf.
Please also contact ETH Human Resources as soon as possible.


Via this emergency call centre, ETH staff and students can receive support at any time around the clock to help them cope with a crisis, as well as assistance and care in medical emergencies (hospitalisation, evacuation and repatriation). The international network also provides access to recommended medical service providers (doctors, clinics, dentists, hospitals), as well as support in the event of theft, for example.
