SAP projects and PSP elements

For projects outside the basic order, which are usually time-limited - such as research projects, internal projects, major events, etc. - you need an SAP project with WBS element(s). - you need an SAP project with WBS element(s). The financial processing of the project is carried out via the PSP element.

The SAP project technically forms the ¡®header¡¯ for one or more PSP elements. Several PSP elements can be assigned to a project, for example, if several donors are involved (example: Innosuisse) or in the case of project co-operations in which several units of ETH Zurich are involved (example in the graphic below: 1 PSP per sub-project, distributed across different areas of responsibility).
