Travel assistance and travel insurance

NOTE:

Mandatory registration:

Travel to countries with an overall risk level above 3.5 (corresponding to the colors orange and red) must be registered in advance via our travel insurance platform, the GardaWorld Travel App. Without this registration, there is no insurance coverage and proactive support within the scope of travel assistance cannot be guaranteed.

Recommended registration:

We also recommend registering your trip for travel to countries with a lower risk level. This will ensure that you receive important information in a timely manner, for example, in the event of a deterioration in the security situation or other relevant events in the region. Furthermore, the insurance company can prepare for any emergencies and act more quickly (e.g. in the event of evacuations).

My Subscriptions

You can enable individual push notifications under "My subscriptions". We recommend that you do this as precisely as possible for your destination (region, zone of the country or neighbourhood of a city) when you start your planning, so that you do not miss any security-related changes between then and your departure, as well as en route.
