Recruitment agencies

Principles
- Hiring candidates via recruitment agencies is associated with costs, so it is worth clarifying in more detail whether involvement is sensible and necessary.
- If you are open to candidate suggestions from recruitment agencies, the following sentence is usually added to the job advertisement: "General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of ETH Zurich for the purchase of recruitment agency services".
- You decide for yourself whether you want to use the services of a recruitment agency. You bear the costs yourself.
- If you do not wish to receive suggestions, the reference to the GTCs can be omitted or you can explicitly mention in the advertisement that no suggestions are desired.
Handling applications
In the recruitment tool, you can mark applications from recruitment agencies with the “recruitment agency” label. If you want to consider a candidate, it is best to contact the recruitment agency for the next steps.

The "General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of ETH Zurich for the purchase of recruitment agency services"apply to ETH Zurich.
Anyone who submits candidate proposals to ETH Zurich (submission of an offer) thereby accepts these GTC.
The GTC of recruitment agencies are excluded or will not be accepted.
